The European Charter for Researchers is a set of general principles and requirements which specify the roles, responsibilities, and entitlements of researchers as well as of employers and/or funders of researchers. It aims to ensure that the nature of the relationship between researchers and employers or funders is conducive to successful performance in generating, transferring, sharing, and disseminating knowledge, and to the career development of researchers.

On the other hand, the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers aims to improve recruitment, to make selection procedures fairer and more transparent, and proposes different means of judging merit. It calls for open, efficient, and transparent recruitment and selection procedures that consider the merits of all aspects of the researchers’ portfolio.

At IQB, we are dedicated to fostering a research environment that is both innovative and ethically sound. As a leading Cybersecurity R&D SME, we proudly adopt the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. This commitment underscores our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in research and development, ensuring that our practices align with the best principles and ethical guidelines recognized across Europe.
